When we are asked what kind of space we are building at The Palm House, the answer comes easily. It’s going to be a community for like minded Travellers, who work remotely, are loving the slow travel, and who don’t want to live entirely by themselves.

They might love the hostel concept, but would love something a little nicer and more comfortable. Who are independent, but also crave company every now and again. They’re looking for a well designed, but affordable accommodation, with a convenient co-working space with excellent vibes and a great cafe attached.

They want to live in a space where there are people around to go for a walk, or join them for a chai. Maybe they are going to cook a meal and wondered if anyone wants to share food or watch a movie later.

At the Palm House every House Guest will have their own hotel style room with an ensuite and a balcony, but there will also be shared spaces like the House Kitchen, and other areas such as the Co-Working space, Cafe, Bar and Roof Top all designed to bring people together naturally.

There will be weekly housekeeping, fresh bedding and towels and a laundry service, but also yoga on the roof top and free filtered water delivered to the room twice a day in glass bottles. It’s not quite a hostel, but also not just a hotel. It’s a Co-living & Co-working Community Space with soul, and fabulous WiFi with power backup.

Our hope is that the longer our guests stay, the more like home it will feel. In a world where we’re often spread out and disconnected, isn’t a little everyday community — the kind you can dip in and out of — something we’re all quietly searching for?

We believe in sustainability and slow travel, and enjoying beautiful South Goa to its fullest. Our hope is that our House Guests will make friendships at here that they remember for a lifetime

How do I book a room?

Fill out our quick form to register your interest and our team will get in touch with you with the next steps. It’s that easy.

Can I stay for less than a month?

We prioritise monthly stays to foster a community feel. If you’re interested in a shorter stay, let us know — we may have availability in between other guests dates.

Is there a kitchen I can use?

While rooms don’t have kitchens, we are planning a Co-living kitchen and community living area for Nov 2025. You’ll also have access to Palm House Café serving fresh, nourishing meals all day via room service, in the co-working area and indoor and outdoor cafes.

Is it a quiet place to work?

Yes. Our indoor co-working space is designed for productivity with ambient music, fast Wi-Fi, comfy seating, A/C, and free coffee and snacks always nearby. There are also quiet zones, and a separate office meeting room. We are planning for standing work stations, comfy cosy areas, brainstorming board, and a projector.

Can I bring my partner?

Absolutely! All of our rooms are perfect for couples or friends sharing. When filling out the inquiry form, just let us know you’re booking for two. Please note: pricing will be different for double occupancy based on room type and coworking requirements.

Is The Palm House family-friendly? Can I bring my child?

We’re designed primarily for adults and remote workers, but we welcome mindful parents traveling with children — especially infants or toddlers. However, we don’t currently offer child-specific facilities like cribs, play areas, or childcare services. If you’re planning to stay as a family, reach out to us first so we can recommend the most suitable rooms and setup.

Are pets allowed?

At the moment, we are not welcoming outside pets — but we’re actively working on pet-friendly solutions for future seasons. If you travel with a service pet please mention this on your form and we will get back to you.

What’s nearby?

We’re in South Goa near Rajbag and Patnem beaches. Everything you need is just a walk or a rickshaw ride away, and yes scooter rental will be available. Beaches, cafes and nature are all mostly a 5 or 10 minute ride away.

Do I need a visa to stay here?

If you’re coming from abroad, you’ll need a valid visa to stay in India. Many of our international guests use a tourist visa or e-visa for 30–180 days.
