OUR STORY
The Palm Collection began with a spontaneous three-day holiday.
Two New Zealanders, passing through Goa on their travels, found themselves on Palolem Beach — feet in the sand, hearts cracked open by the beauty and energy of this place. What was meant to be a short escape turned into something much bigger when they met up with a like minded local Goan entrepreneur who shared their love for yoga, nature and the community.
Together, they dreamed up Palm Forest Palolem: a barefoot sanctuary of handcrafted beach huts, a yoga shala under the palms, and a café where travellers could enjoy delicious New Zealand inspired food, coffee and feel at home. In days the three had made a plan, and just months later in 2018, the New Zealanders made the leap — moving to Goa full-time to bring this vision to life.
Now, the adventure and the partnership continues with The Palm House: the renovation of a hotel built in 2011 into a vibrant co-working and co-living space for digital nomads, creatives and location independent entrepreneurs seeking balance between work, wellness, and community.
Today, The Palm Collection is more than just places to stay — it’s a shared philosophy of meaningful travel, soulful living and a little barefoot magic under the Goan sun.
